Overview: Automate protective stops with the 'Auto Stop Loss/Points' feature in the OTS Trader bot. This functionality automatically places a stop loss order a predetermined number of points away from your true average price, enhancing risk management and minimizing potential losses.

Operation:

  • Order Placement: Upon entering a trade, the feature automatically places a stop loss order X points away from your true average price.

  • Quantity Updates: If your position quantity changes during a live trade, the auto stop adjusts the stop loss quantity accordingly.

  • Modify Stops: You can modify the X points value of your stop loss order during a live trade. When deactivated, the feature cancels the stop loss order, and upon reactivation, it automatically places a new stop order based on your updated settings.

Key Features:

  • Dynamic Adjustment: The system automatically adjusts the stop loss quantity in response to changes in your position, ensuring optimal protection and risk management.

  • Flexibility: Traders can modify the X points value of the stop loss order and activate or deactivate the feature as needed during a live trade.

  • Efficient Order Handling: The feature streamlines order management by automatically canceling and replacing stop loss orders based on updated settings and position changes.

Conclusion: The 'Auto Stop Loss/Points' feature offers traders automated protection and risk management capabilities by placing stop loss orders at a predetermined distance from the true average price. With dynamic adjustment and flexible activation options, this feature enhances trading efficiency and helps mitigate potential losses effectively.
