Live Position Data
It's important to mention that NT8 does provide access to some of this data, although locating it may require some exploration. However, not all of this information is conveniently displayed on a single screen. Importantly, NT8 lacks the provision of your True Average Price, a distinctive feature exclusive to OTS Trader. Once you grasp the significance of True Average Price, it becomes challenging to revert to previous methods.
Features - Section 20 | Position Data
1. Position Section:
- Display of your current Long or Short Position.
- Number of Contracts.
- Your exclusive True Average Price, unique to OTS Trader.
2. Points Section:
- Display of your current Gain or Loss based on Your True Average Price.
- Average Dollar Gain or Loss per Contract at the Current Price.
3. Open Equity:
- Total Open Equity in Dollar Amount.
- Percentage of Open Equity relative to your account.
4. Total Day's Summary:
- Combined Closed and Open Equity Results in Dollar Amount.
- Total Percentage Results for the Day.
5. Account Equity Section:
- Closed Equity.
- Open Equity.
- Account Balance.
6. Margin Section:
- Total Margin Used.
- Percentage of Margin to Account Equity.
Settings - Section 20 | Position Data
To access the settings of the OTS Trader app, open the app, right-click on it, and select "Settings." From there, navigate to the "Section's" settings option.
1. Select Accounting Method:
- FIFO (First In, First Out).
- LIFO (Last In, Last Out).
- Exclusive True Average Price feature, unique to the OTS Trader app.
2. Choose Margin per Contract for Each Market:
- Tailor the margin per contract to the specific market you are trading. This information is showcased at the bottom right of the Position Data section.
